PUPILS from Bowdon Church School swapped the classroom for a market stall as part in an enterprise challenge set for BCS.
The Year Six youngsters spent a day on AltrinchamMarket selling their wares and learning about the business world.
It was the culmination of a six-week initiative that saw the 11-year-olds selling products aimed at helping children beat boredom during the summer holidays.
The life-skill teaching programme has been shortlisted for an award and is supported by Sale and Altrincham local MP Graham Brady and education minister Liz Truss.
Year Six teacher and co-creator of the challenge Dylan McCarthy said: "Selling at Altrincham Market is an amazing opportunity for the children to try their products in a real-life situation,"
