TRAFFORD Council is celebrating Trafford’s 40th year as a single borough with 40 events taking place across the borough this year.
The fairs and fun days are designed to showcase exactly what Trafford has to offer for business, sport, heritage and culture, with communities encouraged to submit their own events to the calendar.
The council is also recognising the individuals who have been influential in making Trafford such a thriving, vibrant community over the past 40 years with 40 Faces of Trafford.
Residents are invited to nominate the person they feel has made the most difference to their local community, including unsung heroes such as community leaders, teachers or doctors.
Anyone wanting to particpate can go to www.trafford.gov.uk/traffordis 40 to find out more.
