Young people aim to make a difference with 'uprising'

First published in News

ON March 29 a group of young people from all over Trafford will be involved in an ‘uprising’.

The event, ‘Uprising On The Streets’, has been dreamed up by young people who want to make a difference where they live.

The teenagers will be supporting a number of projects, including acts of kindness in Sale town centre.

The event is supported by churches and charities such as LifeChurch Manchester, St Mary Magdalene in Sale, KingsWay Church, Trafford Youth for Christ, St Mary’s, Bowdon and the Lighthouse.

“This will be our third uprising on the streets event and in a day when young people are given such a bad reputation I’m always impressed with how excited our young people are to love and serve their community,” said youth leader Ben Dean.
