KATE Green, MP for Stretford & Urmston, has joined with the Friends of Victoria Park to host Scrufts – an annual community dog show for dogs of all shapes and sizes, on March 16.
The event opens at 1pm, in Victoria Park, Stretford, with registration for the dog show open until 1.30pm.
Now in its 10th year, Scrufts is a free show for dogs and their owners to take part in a range of fun activities from a dog agility course to dog-themed arts and crafts for children.
Cath Johnson, vice-chairman of Friends of Victoria Park said:“This is a brilliant event to bring the many dog owners together who use this park and show off how marvellous they all are.”
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association will also be attending.
