TRAFFORD’S Mayor, Cllr Dylan Butt, joined the Chief Constable, Sir Peter Fahy, and other guests at the presentation of certificates and passing out parade of 22 Trafford volunteer police cadets, who were mainly from Lostock College.

Cllr Butt said: “The scheme which Greater Manchester Police is introducing in all the boroughs will be a big boost for young people 13-17 year olds to support their personal development and community engagement.”

The ceremony took place at the GMP force headquarters.
