CONSERVATIVE Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election candidate the Rev Daniel Critchlow had been backing up his pledge to voters with a successful litter picking session.
Daniel was joined by a team of volunteers who helped him remove rubbish from Leaton Avenue, Baguley on Sunday afternoon.
Improving the local area by reducing littering and fly-tipping is one of three key pledges Daniel is offering the people of Wythenshawe and Sale East ahead of voting on February 13.
If elected as MP, Daniel is also pledging to tackle low level crime and gangs by setting up a new youth project in Wythenshawe and to secure pothole repairs for roads across Wythenshawe and Sale East.
