SAINSBURY’S has made 12 jobs permanent following the recruitment of extra seasonal staff over Christmas.
The news follows Sainsbury’s receiving a ‘gold’ rating from Investors in People for the second consecutive time.
Bob Pepper, store manager of the Urmston store, said: "Christmas is the busiest time of year in our stores, so in order to give customers the best possible service we are boosting our teams with extra support.
“It was vital we had extra people in to cope with the increased demand and I’m delighted that we are able to make 12 roles permanent.
“For many it’s the start of a future career with us as we invest in training and helping people develop new skills.”
