AWARD-winning Sale marketing agency Sunny Thinking has chosen the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT) as its new charity, helping kick start a £1,000,000 fundraising campaign.
CAFT provides holidays and activities for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.
The charity needs to reach out to businesss, funders and private donors to meet the hefty costs of keeping the Farm going.
Sunny Thinking has created a new fundraising brochure using black and white images of the children and powerful quotes.
Teaming up with The Gate and Edit 19, the agency also produced a video presented by actor and CAFT Patron Lee Boardman; highlighting reasons why people and businesses should donate and can help change children’s lives.
The material and video were launched on December 7 at the CAFT Christmas Ball.
Jonathan Reed, managing director of Sunny Thinking, said: “After just one trip around the farm I was hooked.
“CAFT is a hidden gem that more people need to know about. Paul and his team provide life-changing holidays and experiences for children and their families facing hard times. The brochure and video we produced are designed to tug gently on the heartstrings then make people reach into their pocket. We look forward to working with CAFT throughout 2014.”
Paul Farrington, chief executive at CAFT added: “As a father himself, Jonathan genuinely appreciates the work we do and understands why we need to raise the much needed £1,000,000. The tone of the brochure and the video is spot on and I’m really confident they’ll help us on our way to achieving the target. There’s more exciting projects between CAFT and Sunny Thinking planned for 2014. Everything we do at CAFT is about us continuing to provide life changing holidays and respite care for these wonderful families and their inspiring children.”
