SALE volunteer Susan Hasson is donating her time this festive season to raise money for the Sale and Altrincham Marie Curie Nursing Service.
Susan said: ‘“I’m collecting at Christmas so that I can help to give a terminally ill person and their family in Sale, the chance to make some important memories of their last Christmas.
“Decorating their own tree, opening presents in their own living room, having visitors round at any hour of the day and tasting a home cooked Christmas dinner for the last time, instead of spending it in a hospital bed.”
Marie Curie Cancer Care holds festive collections to help raise funds to provide one-to-one nursing care for terminally ill people in their own homes.
