AFTER Adoption is encouraging Trafford people to take part in its Christmas Jumper Day on December 13.
Adoption can have a huge impact on anyone involved and the festive project will help raise money for individuals and their families.
Siobhan Heffernan, fundraiser at After Adoption, said “Whether you are taking part with work, school, community group or with friends, your fundraising will make a huge difference.
“This Christmas will be a first Christmas for a lot of children. But for some this Christmas will be extra special, their first in their new family.”
Families across Greater Manchester are found for the children who have waited the longest in the care system by the Families that Last team. These children are often older, from ethnic minority groups, brothers and sisters or children with disabilities.
