ALTRINCHAM Little Theatre is looking for an actor to play the role of Freddie Page in its forthcoming production of Terence Rattigan’s The Deep Blue Sea.
Page is describes as a feckless ex-Battle of Britain Spitfire pilot who came out a World War Two hero. After the war he worked as a test pilot, lost his nerve and hit the bottle. The production runs from March 23-29.
In May the theatre, once called The Club Theatre, will stage A Bedful of Foreigners by Dave Freeman and it needs an actor to play Stanley Parker.
He is described as a luckless middle-aged man and auditions for both parts take place at the Oxford Road venue on November 19.
