THE One Show will be paying a visit to Trafford as part of its Children In Need fundraising campaign.
The BBC magazine programme will once again be unertaking the ‘Rickshaw Challenge’, which involves ‘Team Rickshaw’ visiting all four UK nations in eight days, pedalling around the clock.
The Rickshaw is making its journey from Bolton to Birmingham, passing through Stretford, Sale and Altrincham on November 11.
Team Rickshaw’ will be made up of five young people, each supported by projects funded by BBC Children in Need, who’ll be riding with partners including The One Show’s Alex Jones.
Four of the riders will be partnered with a parent. Rickshaw veteran Matt Baker will also be riding alongside to support the team, acting as a mentor and encouraging them to keep going on their eight-day relay journey across the UK.
