A BANQUET held at the Gonbay Restaurant in AltrinchaM raised £1,470 for the Mayor of Trafford’s Charity Fund.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Trafford, Councillor Dylan Butt and Mrs Farah Butt were present.
This year’s appeal will boost funds for the installation of potentially life-saving defibrillators in public places in the borough.
The event was organised by Ashton-on-Mersey councillors John Lamb, Brian Rigby, MBE and Mike Whetton.
In the four years since they have been organising this event, they have raised £6,657 for the charities of four mayors.
