Rachel Steward from the Salvation Army Sale and Ken Garrity from Altrincham Rotary Club collecting for this year’s Christmas Toy appeal
THE Rotary Club of Altrincham is again joining forces with the Salvation Army in Sale to collect more than 1,200 new toys for children aged up to 16.
Last year the Salvation Army was left to find these toys and with Rotary’s help and the support of Messenger readers the target was reached.
This year the two organisation aim to do the same or better.
Toys must be new and unwrapped. Collection points are Luxistores, Timperley Village; Rotary Club of Altrincham, at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham and Salvation Army, Ashton Lane Sale. Donations will also be accepted.
