A TRAFFORD man convicted of serious assault is wanted on recall to prison.
Matthew Quinn, 21, who has connections to Flixton, Urmston and Stretford, has breached the terms of his prison licence and hasn't been seen since September 2013.
Quinn was released on licence in January 2013 after being convicted of Section 18 assault.
With previous convictions for robbery and burglary, police are concerned that Quinn has turned to crime once again.
Sgt Scott Braithwaite said: "Quinn has so far managed to evade the police since he was wanted and we now seek the public’s help in trying to trace him.
"This violent young man must not be approached, but I would urge anyone who sees him to call us as soon as possible."
Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0161 856 0194 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
