A FIRE engine was called to Humphrey Park Station, Stretford, after youths with matches set fire to the timetable sign.

The crew from Stretford Fire Station was called to the incident on Derbyshire Avenue at around 5.30pm on February 16.

The firefighters put out the fire with a hose reel; the sign was completely destroyed in the blaze.
