ASHES winning captain Michael Vaughan has signed up two celebrity pals for his charity bike ride, which will visit Trafford later this year.
The former England captain and competitor in Strictly Come Dancing will be cycling around the UK to raise money for the Laureus Sport For Good Foundation and the Cricket Foundation’s Chance to Shine initiative.
And he will be joined by Olympic gymnast and Strictly Come Dancing champion Louis Smith and former England cricketer Phil Tufnell when he leads a team on a 12-day tour of England’s cricket grounds to coincide with the one day international series against Australia in September.
The team will be cycling form Leeds to Manchester on September 7, ahead of the second one day international at Old Trafford.
Michael is looking for 50 fundraisers per stage to join him. If you are interested in registering visit www.laureus.com/michaelvaughanbikeride or chancetoshine.org.
