Sale town centre crash causes traffic hold-ups

TWO people were taken to Wythenshawe Hospital after the vehicle they were travelling in collided with another car on Fownhope Avenue this morning.

Police were called to the scene of accident involving a silver BMW and blue Toyota Yaris at 7.50pm and fire service attended shortly after.

Firefighters cut a 30-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy from the wreckage of the BMW after they became trapped inside.

Both were conscious and breathing and were taken by emergency services to Wythenshawe Hospital.

The person in the other car was unhurt.

The accident caused major traffic hold-ups in Sale town centre.

im not sure what happened in this accident but nothing much surprises me anymore the way people just drive around only thinking of getting to where they going not alive to anything driving like they are on cruise control knocking everything down who gets in the way, common sense in many cases is now a thing of the past and can see many more accidents maybe even a fatality due to shoddy driving by sleepy drivers
