SHOPPERS are being urged to book early for free Christmas shopping events in Altrincham.

They take place at Traders Outlet, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Randalls and Rackhams.

Places are limited and it’s first come first served for exclusive shopping tips and festive fashions – and there will be refreshments too.

Altrincham's Christmas events kick off on November 22 with the Christmas lights switch on from 5.30pm at the Stamford Quarter.

There will be music before the countdown when a special guest will light up the town. Afterwards shoppers can go to the first Twilight market.
