Calling all Corrie fans, it’s time to get a taste of the real thing!

For six months only, you have a unique opportunity to walk on the hallowed cobbles, as part of Coronation Street: The Tour.

The home of Britain's best-loved soap is now in Salford, but the doors of the former Coronation Street set in Manchester are opening to visitors for a limited period from next month.

The highlight of the tour will be the Street itself with time to explore and take photos outside the Rovers Return, Roy’s Rolls or the Kabin.

Interior room sets will be on display as part of the behind the scenes tour, giving visitors an opportunity to see where some famous scenes were filmed, revealing insights behind the production.

Studio guides will reveal fascinating facts behind the making of the soap where filming took place for more than 50 years.

Visitors can take a peek into a star’s dressing room, watch rare footage and reminisce over favourite plots and characters with family and friends.

Juliana Delaney, chief executive of Continuum Leading Attractions said: “We have experienced a real buzz of excitement pre opening and we are expecting the tickets to fly. Continuum Leading Attractions is very privileged to be involved in a national treasure that brings so much pleasure to people. We will honour this by making it a memorable guest experience to be talked about for a long time to come.”

Kieran Roberts, Executive Producer, Coronation Street, said: "After 53 years at the Quay Street studios, Coronation Street has now moved to our new home in MediaCity, but I'm thrilled that our old set is opening as a visitor attraction this year. We're very excited to be able to share with the public so many unforgettable stories and magical memories from over five decades of Coronation Street production."
