THIS is a cracking, quirky album full of originality and playfulness.
New Yorker Spektor has a fun approach to music, mixing catchy melodies and simple orchestration with playground-style chants and some adult subject matter. And it's infectious.
On The Radio is as catchy as you get, full of handclaps, chants and fun. Hotel Song takes some, shall we say, illicit topics and manages to make them sound like something you'd whistle while skipping.
It's fun, it's original and it's well worth discovering.
