THE Canterbury Players will present Hi-de-Hi, Paul Carpenter and Ian Gower’s adaptation of the popular TV series, in a café culture setting.
Maplins Holiday Camp will relocate to Urmston Sports Club, Moorside Road, Urmston, while people relax with a buffet and a drink.
The event, part of Flixton Folk Festival, costs £10.50 including supper.
Member, Judith Coates, said: Our audiences really enjoy Canterbury Players' 'Summer Specials', where we change Urmston Sports Club into a café style experience, with a bar, delicious food and a well-loved sitcom; this year we have Hi de Hi, with Joe Maplin's Holiday Camp and his Hawaiian Ballroom as the setting - rehearsals are proving to be great fun!"
* The event takes place from July 11 – 14. Tickets, available by advanced purchase only, from 0161 748 8403.
