HERBERT JOHN THOMPSON On August 27th 2014, suddenly at his home in Timperley, Bert aged 82 years, the beloved husband of the late Barbara, the devoted Dad of Christine and Diane, treasured Grandad of Claire, Paul, Kathryn, Laura and Martin, Great Grandad of Isabella, Lucie, Elizabeth, Benjamin and Alexander, dear father in law of Chris and Kenneth, brother of John. Bert will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St. Hugh’s R.C. Church, West Timperley, on Friday 12th September at 12.15pm followed by interment in Dunham Lawn Cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for ICD Support Unit, Wythenshawe Hospital, may be sent to Arthur Gresty Funeral Homes, MBIE LMBIFD DipFD, Greystones, 305 Manchester Rd, Altrincham, WA14 5PH.
