THE Cresta Court Hotel in Altrincham has taken up its tools to play its part in Altrincham’s push for success at North West In Bloom competition, part of the UK-wide Britain in Bloom competition run by the RHS.
Britain in Bloom is designed to encourage the cleaning up and greening up of towns, cities and neighbourhoods.
For the first time this year Altrincham Community Team (ACT) is leading the year-round campaign instead of Trafford Council
The hotel was keen to get involved and has sponsored a multi-coloured flower display. The Team have sown the seeds and will be weeding as they germinate to ensure a burst of colour as visitors enter the town.
Paul Hindley, general manager got stuck into some weeding this week with Sarah Walmsley of Altrincham In Bloom,
he said: “We are delighted to get involved in this fantastic project. The hard work and vision of this team of local people results in a town that really stands out,"
