SUPERJOSH founder Dawn Fidler brings you her latest blog

We found out the wonderful news this week that our amazing boy's legacy and our incredible team have been nominated for the prestigious Queen's Award for Voluntary Service!

I can't actually sum up how overwhelmed and proud I am of this, but I do know that this is thanks to all of our team, each and everyone of our supporters, Thumbraisers and all of our truly special families.

Josh will be totally buzzing and so proud!

This recognition is a true honour to our team's total dedication, hard work, incredible commitment, much love and lots of fun.

Our SuperJosh family are so special — what an amazing honour for us all.

Most of you will know by now that I like a challenge.

This time I might be pushing myself a bit too far though.

In the early hours of this morning, four of us set off for Morocco to take part in the Saharan Challenge.

Starting at 4am tomorrow, we will take on 26 miles of mountains and desert in 35 degree heat, camp at night and then start again early Saturday and hopefully complete another 26 miles.

Myself and my good friend Lianne Haigh are trekking the miles, and Gordon Hamilton, from Bespoke Landscapes, and Scott Cunningham are running it.

Two marathons in two days is going to be really tough in the heat!

We have a team target of £10,000 for this massive challenge.

We would like to thank our kit sponsors Financial Options, RRG Bury, ESS Approved Electricians and Master Valet for their sponsorship and support.

I'm very nervous but excited too and hopefully we will all be able to complete the challenge with strength of my amazing boy behind us.
