I REFER to a recent letter from L.Drinkwater printed in the Messenger of concerning outdoor play for the children of Irlam Road nursery.
Unlike the parents who spend just a few minutes a day there,dropping off or collecting children, I live within 50 yards of this nursery and am one of the disgruntled neighbours to whom your L. Drinkwater refers.
It would be interesting to see how many of the petitioners live really close by. I thank the planning authority wholeheartedly for upholding their original decision, which takes into account the wishes of the close neighbours of the nursery.
