DEAR SUM readers, Living just inside the M60 in Stretford, I will be living right beside the congestion charging point.
The school my children go to is the other side of the M60, so I will be charged for taking them to school, as well as brownies, swimming lessons, dancing lessons and after school clubs!
My mother (a pensioner) will be charged £10 per week to drive herself and other elderly friends - who are unable to walk far, to go to morning mass each day at our local church. When it is something they have done daily for over 40 years - do they stop? Or pay the £480 per year out of a pension?
S.Speakman Stretford.
