WHOEVER gave the go ahead for Silcocks Funfair to be held on Davyhulme Retail Park should come and sit in my living room and listen to the noise I can hear over the sound of my television and feel the vibrations that are going through the house.
Some of the houses are no more than a couple of hundred yards away, surely some rules of privacy have been broken here?
May I suggest Trafford Council give the residents of Davyhulme a bit of peace before all hell lets loose on the roads again.
We have had 10 years of traffic chaos leading up to Christmas due to the Trafford Centre and to ease the congestion they give planning permission for a hotel, an office block, a DIY store, a ski slope and an extension to the Trafford Centre.
Are the residents views and welfare ever taken into consideration?
I doubt it otherwise what used to be almost a village in size and feel would not of been trampled for the sake of big business.
Give us a bit of peace. We deserve it.
