YET again Mr Wild is complaining about everything and nothing ‘Davyhulme sinking under traffic’, SUM letters September 25.

I assume that this gent is of a certain age, because of the time he spends writing to your newspaper! It seems to me that he has a personal crusade against Peel holdings or anybody else who wants to develop and invest into the Urmston, Flixton and Davyhulme areas.

Bring on Peel holdings I say. If a company is willing to invest millions of pounds in our area it can only be a good thing, including the new proposed hotel at Lostock circle, as for the traffic I suggest he travels a bit more as every town and city in the UK is in the same boat, and to be fair its not that bad anyway.

Mr Wild should bear in mind that he lives in a house which in the 1930’s were built on open green fields, and farm land, that's progress, live with it.

But I bet deep down that he`s rubbing his hands at the increase in value of his property since the Trafford centre and surrounding areas have been developed, I know I am.

If he wants quiet unbusy roads, quaint streets of shops, large expanses of rolling hills & fields, old fashioned developments, regular refuse collections, no global warming, and a crimeless society, I suggest he moves, unfortunately though the post office would be unable to supply a post code for his choice of address. Utopia! At least it would stop him from posting all his letters. Stop the moaning and enjoy A Purcell . Davyhulme
