I HAVE now got to the end of my tether with the state of the road leading to the council tip off Sinderland Road, Altrincham. With the emphasis strongly on recycling, and the launch of the new bins for households across the borough, you would expect the council to improve existing recycling centres.

The road into the tip, is like dodging a minefield of increasingly large pot holes, some of which are very deep. I am all for recycling but find it infuriating that my vehicle could get damaged as a result.

The council must have spent a small fortune on the recent resurfacing of Barrington Road which for most motorists and residents really didn't look that desperately in need of repair. Surely the money would have been much better spent resurfacing the road into the tip If by some miracle the road into the tip has been repaired in the last couple of week, I thank the council, after all it's only been like that for the past five years E.
