I JUST wanted to congratulate our staff at the Waterside Arts Centre on gaining a Heritage lottery bid to house the Cosgrove Hall archives.
This was a real achievement and I want to recognise their commitment.
The opening of the exhibition on October 19 was not to be missed, with speeches from our own staff and Brian Cosgrove and his colleagues.
The exhibits are part of our history and the characters so well loved by all children, so important a home has been found for them at our own Waterside arts centre in Sale.
The exhibition includes puppets of the Flower Pot Men, Andy Pandy, Dangermouse, Count Duckula, etc. There are too many to mention, it is inspirational.
Congratulations to all involved.

Sale Councillor
