TAKING a stroll around Urmston these days, one wouldn't be all that surprised to see residents sandbagging homes and putting up blackout screens in windows.
The reason being that Urmston has gone pothole crazy, especially with the many roads around the town and Davyhulme, plagued with craters.
In actual fact, most roads around Davyhulme have so many potholes that at the moment they resemble the aftermath of a night's bombing raid by the Luftwaffe in the Second World War.
With many speed bumps breaking up, it is almost transforming many roads into the area into assault courses as well as causing damage and inconvenience to emergency vehicles.
So come on councillors before you dig yourself a hole you can't get out of, you know the drill.
We've all been around the park a couple of times. get your finger out and start maintaining these roads like you promised when you took control of Trafford.
