I WOULD like to thank the three fellow cyclists who stopped to see if they could assist me on the afternoon of Wednesday April 8 when, halfway home from Salford Quays to Sale, I had to repair a puncture on Moss Road Bridge, Stretford.

At a time when everyone was heading home it was reassuring that those who choose to cycle, in this case to and from work, offer aid to another in time of distress.

I feel privileged to be part of the greater cycling community and I highly recommend others to get out of their cars and join us.
