Dave Hill, Rob Skelley, Owen Monk, and Stuart Higginbottom all scored with Luke Taylor pulling the strings in a man-of-the-match performance.

Andy Power’s goal edged Liverpool Sefton in a tight 1-0 win for the men’s firsts in Division Two West with man-of-the-match, goalkeeper James McLaughlin, keeping a clean sheet.

Elsewhere, the ladies’ thirds were held in an eight-goal thriller as they drew 4-4 with Glossop seconds and the ladies’ seconds fell 4-1 to local rivals Didsbury Northern fourths in Division Three.

The ladies’ firsts battled back from four goals down at half time against Sale ladies’ firsts but were undone 6-4 in Division Two South West.
