The victorious Trafford FC Youth Tigers team and coaches
Young footballers from Trafford FC Youth Tigers Under-12s have secured the league and cup double in the Timperley and District League’s top division.
Playing at the home of Trafford FC recently, they beat Wilmslow Sports Pumas 2-1 in the cup final and then got the better of them again, winning 2-0 in a league play-off decider against the same team.
In the cup final, the team had various injuries and illness so to secure the win was a big achievement with both goals coming from George Osbourne, with William Linwood named man-of-the-match.
The play-off decider again saw Osbourne score both goals.
Both were hard-fought games and coaches Steven Murray and Paul Linwood were delighted, as were all the children and parents.
