Trafford FC is offering ‘Football for a Fiver’ and free entry to NHS members for their home game against Hanley Town on Saturday.

The offer is part of ‘Non-League Day’ - an annual event in March that, due to the international break when there is no Premier League football, the focus is placed entirely on grassroots football clubs.

To celebrate the occasion, Trafford is launching a ‘Free Entry to NHS Members’ and ‘Football for a Fiver’ scheme for their match at the Home Estates Shawe View Stadium which kicks off at 3pm.

Employees of the NHS must bring along identification of their status to gain free entry, while all other adults and concessions pay just £5 with children under the age of 16 being charged just £2.

Attendances at Trafford games have been excellent throughout the season and the team are currently on a seven-match unbeaten run in NPL West, so a bumper crowd is expected.

It is advisable, therefore, to arrive early to beat the queues and join in the fun.

Gates open at 1pm with food and a licensed bar available at the ground for all to use.
