CRINGLEWOOD kept up their winning ways in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League with a 5-2 victory against Central B.

The match was closer than the score suggests, with Dennis Hand and John Theirens both winners for Central B and Mark Stanton and James Roberts came close to taking their matches.

Cringlewood did hold on, though, taking wins via Lee Davies, Danny O’Donnell, Paul Andrews and Callum Nolan for two vital points.

They also won the gallon pairs at the end of the match.

Central A had a good night beating close rivals British Rail 4-3 and in doing so keep themselves in second behind Cringlewood.

They threw brilliant darts courtesy of Andy McCormack, Mickey Roche, Steve Holt and Jamesey Ennis.

The Rail took wins of their own from Nigel Beeton, Ains and Iris Bannister but they just could not quite catch Central A, though they did win the gallon pairs.

Timperley Cons are back on track with a second consecutive victory, this time by 6-1 against Navigation to lift them to third. They also won the gallon pairs.
