CRINGLEWOOD bounced back to the top of the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League with a good win against a tough British Rail side.

Cringlewood showed fantastic form getting round the board quickly in all of their games and finishing the doubles and bulls in few darts, which gave Rail little chance.

The gallon pairs at the end saw a draw for the first time in the league so at least Rail took a shared point from that.

Timperley Cons started slowly in the first two weeks but got their first win against high-flying Central A.

The match was tight all the way but Cons shone through to win 4½-2½, also winning the gallon pairs.

The highlight for Central A was Andy McCormack’s 10-dart leg which is the least so far this season, taking over from Central B's Dave Woods and his 11-dart leg at the start of the campaign.

Central B had their first win of the season, beating Navigation 4-3 in a close match, before also winning the gallon.
