BOB Channings was the first winner of Davyhulme Park Golf Club's new 'OBE' Trophy.
The inaugural event took place with 22 members and was over eight holes Stableford.
It is for veteran golfers and the idea came from former captain David Marsden who presented the OBE ('Over Bloody Eighties') Trophy
to the winner.
