TEENAGE Lancashire prodigy Arran Sen returned sensational figures of 5-12 as Stretford's third XI won by 34 runs at Deane and Derby.

The 13-year-old's arsenal of bamboozling leg spin with variations was too much for the hosts and ensured the MVP award was only going one way as the hosts slumped to 112 all out.

Batting first Stretford posted 146 all out with a typically swashbuckling 58 by Usman Hassan providing the bulk of the runs.

There were important contributions from Paddy Lampton (14), Sen (17) and 15 from Kenny Cotton, who stitched the top order together.

Stretford's failure to bat the allotted 40 overs was looking to be a blow with Deane and Derby reaching 55 for the loss of only two wickets.

But the floodgates were opened by Shoaib Sarwar (3-20) and an amazing spell from Sen to complete the victory.
