SALE FC's Heywood Road ground will be the venue for an international rugby league clash between Swinton Lions and Toronto Wolfpack on Sunday.
The BetFred Championship clash kicks off at 6pm and admission prices are just £5 for adults, with under-16s getting in for free.
The reduced admission prices are part of the Manchester club’s 'Summer of Rugby' promotion, aimed at making rugby league accessible and affordable for all.
The pre-match build-up will focus on a family fun day, with entertainment and a live band together with a schoolboy curtain raiser between two local community clubs.
There will also be a bouncy castle for the kids, a discounted bar for the adults, and an outside barbecue and gates open at 3pm.
For that extra special experience a full corporate lounge package, including Sunday lunch, can be had for only £25 per person.
The main event sees the Canadian visitors – this season’s standout team in the Championship – take on a resurgent Lions side who have won their last couple of league games and will be looking to cause a huge upset.
The Lions are looking to attract people from across the Greater Manchester region to the transatlantic showdown by offering this incredible special deal, with admission prices set at a fraction of what it costs to watch any other professional sport in Greater Manchester.
Lions chairman, Andy Mazey, explained: “Two great cities, two great sets of fans, entertainment for all of the family and some quality rugby league – what’s not to like?
"Through the ever-growing mechanism of globalisation the world is getting smaller and large city clubs will inevitably be the main attraction for future broadcast partners and blue-chip sponsors.
"As a club we are determined to align ourselves as the main Manchester club, taking full advantage of a city with a global reputation for sport which is crying out for a big professional rugby league club.”
