GOLF: Players can take on world's best courses in virtual reality facility
GOLFERS in Altrincham can try to emulate the likes of Tiger Woods and conquer the great Masters course in Augusta without leaving Trafford.
Altrincham Driving Range has installed a new facility – TopTracer – which will allow golfers to play a number of famous courses from around the world in the virtual golf mode.
Other game modes include nearest the pin, longest-drive challenges, points scoring plus many more features.
It is also good for teaching as the professional can go through a golfer's swing and clubs with the ‘Whats in the Bag’ feature.
Ten bays at the driving range will be installed with this technology and it will be available to use from Monday.
