TRAFFORD MV close their 2018/19 ADM League campaign at Aldwinians in Audenshaw on Saturday.
Both teams will consider they have under-achieved this season, and both will be aiming to play for their own pride. With nothing to play for, both being safe from relegation fears and well off the pace on contending for higher places, it will be a case of who picks up the individual honours in this final league match.
Having had no games for two weeks, the teams should be well rested and recovered from minor knocks and injuries. MV coach Ricky Phillips will be hoping for a performance to justify the efforts he has put in and captain Andy Quigley will be looking to his senior players to give him full backing and put in a strong game after a series of lack-lustre performances in the second half of the campaign.
There is much room for improvement in MV's game and the club needs to dig deep and improve markedly before they go into their cup final appearance against likely league winners Widnes in May.
