CHAMPIONS Jolly Butcher extended their lead at the top of the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League with a 5-2 victory against Budenburgs.
The tight contest for second spot continues after Timperley Cons kept up their challenge with a 4-3 win against a strong Broadheath Central side.
Meanwhile, Cringlewood took on a Central second team coming out all guns blazing initially with wins for Danny O’Donnell and Callum Nolan, and then finished off with further wins from Dave Peploe and Lee Davies.
Cringlewood ended up winning 7-0 which means second spot is jointly-owned by them and the Cons on 28 points each with two weeks left.
British Rail stayed on their winning path, beating Station 5½-1½, keeping the Rail in fourth position.
