THE Jolly Butcher extended their lead at the top of the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League by beating Station 6-1.
Second-placed Cringlewood kept up the chase with a 5½-1½ victory over Budenburgs, while Timperley Cons remain third after a 7-0 hammering of Central Club.
Cons played some brilliant darts on on the night, starting with Dan Cross who beat Alan le Boutillier in a tight game, then followed by notable wins from Andy Kindred and Andy Brownhill.
British Rail continued with their excellent form with a close-fought 4-3 win against Broadheath Central.
The victory keeps the Rail in fourth spot and within striking distance of a top-three finish.
