Bowdon Bowling Club's anniersary celebration
BOWDON Bowling Club celebrated its 145th anniversary with a festive dinner at Ringway Golf Club, Hale Barns.
Club chairman John Watson presented nine bowling trophies, which included the prestigious McKane trophy for ladies singles won by Alison Janes, the Walton Cup for the men’s singles won by John Hulme and the Albrectsen Cup for mixed singles won by Colin King.
The club plays throughout the winter months with matches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 1.30 pm.
