AFTER three matches of the new winter season in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League, Jolly Butcher lead the way with three straight wins – the latest a 6-1 triumph against The Station.
Timperley Cons pushed themselves in to second spot with an impressive 6-1 win against The Central, while British Rail took on Broadheath Central and came out all guns blazing to take an early lead before Broadheath hit back with a couple of legs of their own.
The Rail then had a second wind and won the remaining legs to seal a 5-2 victory.
The match of the night saw Cringlewood beat Budenburgs 4-3 in a match that was nip and tuck all the way with both teams on form.
The least darts so far is an eight-dart leg – from start to finishing bull – achieved by Callum Loose of Cringlewood.
It is the least darts with which a finish has been secured in the history of the Monday night league.
