NEWLY-crowned champions Jolly Butcher lost their unbeaten record in the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League when they went down 5½-4½ to second-placed Cringlewood.

In a tight game, Butcher led 3½-1½ before Cringlewood won four out of the final five legs.

Broadheath Central had a tough match against the Budenburgs B, winning 7-3.

Chris White kicked things off for the Central with a great leg of darts followed by Steve Holt, Johnny Thierens and Geoff Kellett making it 4-0 before Budenburgs took the fifth leg.

Budenburgs B secured two more legs but the Central held form throughout to win.

Timperley Cons got back to winning ways in style with a 10-0 victory against the Station.

Meanwhile, British Rail took on the Central second team and flew out of the blocks, taking all the legs except one in a 9-1 victory.
