LEADERS Timperley Cons lost their first match of the Altrincham and Sale Round the Board Darts League on Monday when British rail secured a 4-3 victory.
The match went to 3-3 before Rail's Iris Bannister beat Andy Kindred to seal victory.
Broadheath Central took on Budenburgs and won 4-3 in another close match.
Central won the first game then Budenburgs hit back, winning the next two.
Central then kicked in with fantastic wins from Geoff Kellett, Dennis Hand and Chris White to take the match beyond Budenburgs and go level at the top.
Elsewhere, Cringlewood beat Gardeners Arms 5-2 to stay in third, while The Old Hall and The Station were without a fixture.
Next week sees the Pairs Knockout competition for the league with last two pairs going through to the finals night next May.
