ALTRINCHAM-based ice hockey team Manchester Storm has launched its own business club to help connect the region’s firms.

The Manchester Storm Business 200 Club, will bring together sponsors, partners and local businesses in a series of networking events, the first of which took place at Altrincham’s Cresta Court Hotel on October 26.

As well as a networking opportunity, the event gave members the chance to meet the Storm management team and players, as well as gain business insight from TV personality and psychologist Emma Kenny.

There are just 200 spots available and as well as networking opportunities, members can utilise the Storm’s contacts to grow their own businesses.

Manchester Storm head coach Ryan Finnerty said: “Manchester Storm is firmly established as part of the North West’s sporting community, and we want to use that clout to help our sponsors and partners in the business community.

“With our excellent digital reach, strong community presence and ever-growing fan base, we are confident members of our Business 200 Club will truly benefit.

“Plus, our innovative networking events will be a great place for business leaders to get to know each other and break the ice – pun intended.”

Membership is £200 and as well as networking opportunities, members will be featured on the Manchester Storm’s website as club partners.

Places are strictly limited and membership of the club is by invitation only. If you want to find out how the Manchester Storm Business 200 Club could benefit your business email corporate@storm-office.com
